It is not an unusual problem for subscription and sample marketing programs but often times the product being shipped to new subscribers is different than what is shipped to repeat customers. Not necessarily better or worse, but likely different in terms of content and/or dimensions.

Feminine hygiene products are necessary but not always easy or convenient to get. BiziBubble is a program that sends product, directly to the recipient’s home making the process discreet and easy.
The game plan was to send out an “intro pack” to new subscribers that would contain a wider variety of products and also include a handy, attractive storage case. However, subsequent refill reorders would not include the new member case, making the custom box necessary for the intro packs too large for the refill shipments. They also knew using a larger container than really required would add unnecessary cost, space and shipping weight as well as ancillary packaging or void fill.

With some sampling and testing we determined that our very popular 9” X 6-1/2” X 2-3/4” was perfect for the refill/reorder shipper. We still needed to create a custom box (9-1/4” X 9-1/8” X 3-1/16”) to properly fit the intro pack storage case, but the savings of being able to use a stock size for at least one of their boxes was substantial.
The nice people at BiziBubble together with a graphic artist we recommended to them, created the beautiful eye catching look with a standard purple ink printed on a white background permitting a reverse print and a two color look while using only print plate.
